June 10: Final Celebration / Workshop - share your track and receive feedback

Okay...anything else I should know?

  • Difficulty: Advanced Beginner to Intermediate (although this course caters to a range of skill levels, you should have a basic knowledge of how to navigate and use Ableton)
  • Project Files will only be compatible with Ableton 11 & 12
  • Each session we will:
    • listen to and analyze a track (so come prepared for discussion and participation)
    • break down the track’s production in Ableton - we will not be focused on exact recreation, but rather how the track can inspire our own creation
    • make music - you will be given time in session to create (you’ll also receive an Ableton project file with samples and presets so you can immediately mess around)
  •  Each week there will be optional assignments - in our final session, everyone will have the chance to share something they’ve created in the class!
